It is with the deepest regret that we inform that our past President, Mr. V. G. Ravi, passed away at his residence in Bangalore.

Ravi, who was ailing for some time, finally succumbed to his illness. The end came, peacefully, on the 6th of March around 7.45 pm. He was 77.

Ravi was an active rower in his heydays and has served on the Committees of TARA and MBC as President and Secretary respectively. He was a man who enjoyed being in the company of friends and brought cheer to the people around him with his smile and glowing countenance.

Ravi will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, who led a simple, clean and purposeful life.
